1 cup all-purpse flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter
1-1/2 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup unsalted peanuts, chopped
1 pkg. peanut butter chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt onto wax paper. Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a medium-size bowl with electric mixer until fluffy. Stir in dry ingredients; beat untilsmooth. Fold in 1/2 cup of the chopped nuts. Pour into greased 13x9x2-inch pan. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes. Remove pan from oven to wire rack; sprinkle with peanut butter chips. Let stand about 5 minutes, then spread evenly with a small metal spatula. Sprinkle with remaining nuts, patting down gently. Cool; cut into bars
