Ingredients:

1 cup wild rice, uncooked
3 cups boiling water
3 to 4 slices bacon
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup carrots, chopped
1 can chicken broth
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 soup cans milk
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms, plus their liquid
1 tsp. seasoned salt
Pepper, to taste

Directions:

Combine rice and boiling water. Simmer, covered, about 50-60 minutes. Drain and set aside. (You can do this ahead of time). Fry bacon in large soup pot. When crisp, remove.
