Ingredients: |

1 pkg. (2 lb.) frozen hash brown potatoes or
5 cups potatoes, diced, boiled, drained, and cooled
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
1/2 cup onion, grated
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups corn flakes

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together except cheese in a 9x13-inch pan. Sprinkle cheese on top. Put over the cheese corn flakes and melted butter. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

I serve with grilled smoked ham slices, fruit, and bread or muffins.

I have been looking for this recipe everywhere. We used to have this at family gatherings when I was a kid only we used potato chips instead of frosted flakes, that sounds good to though. |
