A small red fruit with seeds on the outer skin. Strawberries are full of flavor, and are extremely sensitive; they keep for roughly 48 hours. Strawberries should be red, shiny and should not be bruised when picking or purchasing. They are grown in Europe, Spain, Israel and the United States.
